THE LEGACY HUNTERS - THE SINGAPORE SHOPHOUSE PODCAST
The inspiration for this podcast stemmed from my two-decade collaboration with Dr. Julian Davison. We now combined our research into this Podcast.
His profound passion for architectural history ignited my own.
He instilled in me an appreciation for the storied edifices of Singapore, its venerable architects, and the rich tapestry of the nation's historical odyssey.
Leveraging artificial intelligence, we saw a chance to expedite our podcast's development and share the narrative of Singapore's colonial history with a global audience.
Our focal points include:
- The enduring heritage of the Singapore Shophouse.
- Architectural history: Celebrating the significant buildings preserved by URA.
- Dr. Julian Davison's contributions as he accompanies me through my journey of helping investors to understand The Singapore Shophouse

Message us for an Introduction or Coffee Session
Sir Stamford Raffles is one of my favourite topic of research. Because of his book and love for History that led me into buying his autograph from London.
And last 30 Years I must say I did alot of research , I even got 5 documents from Java where he was a governor there...
The founder of Singapore Sir Stamford Raffles, a British administrator who played a significant role in shaping the political and cultural landscape of Southeast Asia during the early 19th century.
The text highlights Raffles's accomplishments in establishing Singapore as a British trading post, his efforts to improve the lives of the native populations in Java and Sumatra, and his advocacy for education and social reform.
It also provides insights into Raffles's personal life, including his struggles with ill health, the loss of his children, and his deep faith.
The biography further explores the context of Raffles's work, including the prevailing colonial policies of the British East India Company, the influence of missionaries like Robert Morrison and William Milne, and the complexities of inter-ethnic relations in the region.
